Manager would do the following:
- work with TCC scheduler to establish calendar for weekday practices and weekend games (this is sometimes 2 hours of practice back to back with different skill/ability groups and 2-3 coaches, depending on interest. Average ratio of 7:1 is really best for the players);
- attend TCC general/board meetings via zoom to inform board of program, any needs and enrollment;
- create registration form and manage registrations, player and COVID-19 waivers and membership for participants;
- oversee scholarships and communication with TYS, Topanga Youth Services, which helps low-income youth participate in TCC programming;
- order team jersey for each player and if parents/siblings want to place order, add theirs to order as well and collect payments;
- order participant medals for each player for end of season or arrange a tournament for 3v3 or 4v4 play with trophy for winning teams;
- maintain equipment like balls and portable goals;
- manage gear that is passed down when kids outgrow cleats/shin guards;
- COVID-19 vaccination required (at least 2 doses plus booster if elidgable).
Coaches:
- Are asked to review US Youth Soccer risk management handbook and SafeSport training (online);
- Hold a minimum Grassroots USA soccer license— can be done online;
- Commit to being consistent for the season;
- Livescan fingerprint for insurance purposes needed;
- COVID-19 vaccination required (at least 2 doses plus booster if elidgable).
