Non-profit, not intending to be paid, looking for positive experience for kids. Cost of mentors divided among the families. Ages 5-12, partnering with a group that’s already meeting needs in the canyon. Originally looking for a full-time space, still want to be a part of the TCC looking for one day a week to have access to the indoor space or ball field and stage, most of the time outside, inside only because of weather. It’s not a school; it’s parents to hire a tutor. 6-8 kids, multiple adult supervision, 1:3, own liability insurance that covers multiple locations including library. Pioneering and it’s the sense of the community of Topanga, coming together. Not for profit activity completely. Not major use or impact, larger ways to help with service projects and ways to serve the TCC. All parents are members

XI. ADJOURN

Alexandra Fitzmorris:

Hey there!
I recently mentioned on NextDoor my interest in starting a clothing swap for children since our little ones grow so fast and its great to upcycle and give to our neighbors. Someone mentioned that there used to be such a swap at the TCC but no longer—I’m wondering if it would be possible for me to schedule something like this at the TCC in the next couple of months, and how I should go about making it happen.

best,
Alexandra Danks
